Refund Policy
Effective date: 31 August 2026 · Last updated: 31 August 2026. This policy applies to CocciFlows software products, provided under the Coccinelle Technologies brand. Related documents: Terms of Service and Privacy Notice.
1 · Our approach
CocciFlows products are downloadable software that you install on your own systems. Once a package has been downloaded it cannot be returned in the way a physical item can — so we try to make the decision easy before you buy: the product page lists exactly what is included and what is not, the requirements, and the third-party services and costs involved, and the full documentation is published openly at flows.coccitech.ae/docs. Please read them first, and ask us if anything is unclear.
That said, we do issue refunds where it is right to do so. If a purchase went wrong or the product does not do what we said it does, tell us — we would rather fix it or refund you than have an unhappy customer.
2 · Situations where a refund is normally appropriate
- Duplicate purchase — you were charged more than once for the same product.
- Incorrect charge — you were charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not buy.
- You could not get your download — access to the purchased package failed and we were unable to resolve it for you.
- A verified material defect — the product does not function substantially as documented, and we cannot provide a reasonable fix or workaround within a reasonable time.
- Unauthorised or fraudulent transaction — the purchase was not made by you or with your authority.
- Any case required by applicable law or by the requirements of our payment provider.
In the material-defect case we will usually ask for a short description of what happens, so we can reproduce it. That is to help us fix it, not to make the refund harder.
3 · Situations where a refund is usually not appropriate
Subject always to section 4, a refund would not normally be given where:
- you simply changed your mind after the digital product was downloaded or accessed, and it works as documented;
- your environment does not meet the requirements published on the product page and in the documentation before purchase — for example an n8n version older than the stated minimum, or no n8n instance at all;
- the problem is caused solely by a third-party service, configuration or system that the product does not claim to support;
- you want a refund for third-party charges — such as AI provider usage, n8n Cloud, hosting or email — which are paid to those providers, not to us (see section 7);
- the product was misused, or was modified or repackaged in an unauthorised way, and that is what caused the problem;
- you are asking for a feature the product never claimed to have, or one described as planned rather than included.
These are guidelines for the ordinary case, not absolute rules — we look at what actually happened. None of these exclusions override your mandatory consumer rights, or the policies that apply to a transaction processed by our payment provider (see sections 4 and 6).
4 · Your legal rights always come first
Nothing in this policy limits or waives rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law. Where the law of your country gives you a right to cancel, to a refund, to a repair or replacement, or to any other remedy, that right applies in full regardless of anything written above, and our payment provider's own buyer-protection requirements apply as well. Sales are not "final in all circumstances" and we do not ask you to give up any right you cannot lawfully give up.
Some consumer laws provide a cancellation period for digital content that may be shortened or waived once a download begins with your consent; where such a rule applies to you, it applies as your law provides — we do not attempt to expand or restrict it here.
5 · How to request a refund
Contact us with your order or receipt reference and a short description of the problem, using the contact details in section 9. Please get in touch as soon as you notice an issue — the sooner we hear, the more likely we can fix it rather than refund it.
Where a purchase was made through our payment provider, you may also raise the request directly with that provider, which handles refunds as part of processing the transaction.
Refund requests are assessed against this policy, the applicable policy of our payment provider, and applicable consumer law. Where a purchase is processed by Paddle, the request period described in section 6 applies.
6 · Purchases processed by Paddle
When paid checkout opens, purchases will be processed by Paddle acting as Merchant of Record — the seller of record for the transaction.
Paddle's published refund policy is its own document and applies to transactions it processes. In summary, and without restating it in full: transactions are generally non-refundable except where applicable law, your statutory rights, the supplier's own rights or terms, or Paddle's discretionary refund process apply.
Where a purchase is processed by Paddle, a buyer may submit a discretionary refund request within 14 days of the transaction date. Submission within this period does not guarantee a refund. Eligibility is assessed under this Refund Policy, Paddle's applicable Buyer Refund Policy, and applicable consumer law. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
To be unambiguous: this is not an unconditional 14-day money-back guarantee, and we do not offer one. The 14 days describe the window in which a discretionary request can be submitted for a Paddle-processed transaction — not a promise that any request made inside it will be approved.
Separately from that discretionary process, statutory rights can give you more:
- Statutory withdrawal or cancellation periods exist in some countries and differ by jurisdiction. Where one applies to you, it applies on its own terms, in addition to anything written here.
- Digital content that has already been downloaded, streamed, used or otherwise supplied may be treated differently under those rules, particularly where you validly consented to immediate supply and, where applicable, acknowledged the effect on a withdrawal right. That treatment is set by your law, not by us.
- Products that are faulty, materially not as described, or not fit for purpose may carry additional statutory remedies — such as repair, replacement or a refund — regardless of any period above.
Paddle's current policy is published at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. Where its terms and this policy differ for a Paddle-processed transaction, whichever gives you the better outcome under applicable law prevails.
7 · How refunds are processed
As Merchant of Record, Paddle processes the payment, issues the receipt, handles applicable taxes, and ultimately processes refunds for the transactions it handles. An approved refund is returned to the original payment method through Paddle, and the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or payment method.
Once a refund is issued, the licence for the refunded product ends, and you should uninstall the product from your n8n and remove the chat widget snippet from your website. The product documentation explains how.
Checkout is not live at the time of writing, and no payments are collected through this website today. This policy is published in advance so that it is available before any purchase can be made.
8 · Third-party costs are not refundable by us
CocciFlows products run on services you buy directly from other companies — AI provider usage, n8n Cloud or self-hosting, VPS hosting, domains, email. Those charges are paid to those providers, not to us, and we cannot refund them. Their own refund terms apply, and you deal with them directly. The product page sets out which third-party services are required before you buy.
